Kerry Stone - Paintings
Kerry Stone was born in Livingston, New Jersey. After getting her undergraduate in Art,, with an emphasis in clay from MIU in Iowa., she moved to California.
Kerry exhibited her handbuilt clay work in several galleries in San Francisco. In California, Kerry began her career of teaching art to children in art centers in the Bay area.
In 1989, after moving back east to Massachusetts, Kerry continued working in clay and teaching art. She settled in Warwick, Ma. with her family.
In 2004, Kerry's art direction evolved from painting on clay to painting on canvas. She studied painting with several artists from Ma. She loves the spontaneity and freedom she has found in painting. Her studio is located at her home. The flowers in the garden, wildflowers in nature, still lives in her home and special places found on walks inspire many of her paintings and collage work.
Kerry's love of travel have taken her to many beautiful places including New Zealand, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Caribbean and New Mexico. She always brings along her paints!
Kerry's paintings will be available in the Daylily gallery and the attached hair studio until the end of May. All of her displayed paintings are available to purchase.

Valerie Bassett - Oil Painting
Valerie lives in Florence, MA and has earned degrees in fine art and
arts management. She primarily works as an oil painter and prefers water soluble oils.
Her subject matter varies but she mostly enjoys working from still life.
Her goal in a painting is not only to establish a working composition but also to find the light, color and energy in her subject matter. She often paints scenes and objects that have personal meaning or historic significance. Family treasures often find their way into her paintings.
Valerie is a member of the Old Deerfield Painting Group and the Berkshire's Dalton Art Guild. She exhibits her work both locally and in the Berkshires and her work is part of both private and public collections.
She is available for instruction and commissions.
Offers are accepted on paintings.
